Dedicated to those who serve
My mission is simple: to serve military, first responders and their families with top-tier rehab as well as any humans who just want to move and be healthy. I use a platform of evidence-based medicine to ensure my patients are challenged appropriately and progress accordingly during their rehab. For my manual work I use a combination of soft tissue work both hands-on and instrument assisted, dry needling, joint mobilizations and manipulations. For exercise prescription I focus on finding the right program with the appropriate amount of load and progressions to ensure optimal success. This includes stabilization and mobilization drills progressing to weight lifting mechanics including free weights, powerlifting and Olympic lifting with or without Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) technology.

About Brigette Schwimmer
Brigette Schwimmer is a passionate physical therapist with a deep commitment to serving first responders, military personnel, and their families. She graduated in 2018 from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, and quickly found her calling in working with individuals who operate in high-demand, high-risk environments.
During her internship at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Brigette had the unique opportunity to work alongside airmen and shadow the elite First Group, which solidified her desire to specialize in treating special forces and those who serve in extreme capacities.
Her first role post-graduation allowed her to collaborate closely with fire fighters, police officers, and veterans, experiences that further ignited her passion for helping those who dedicate their lives to service. One of the highlights of her career has been her partnership with East Pierce Fire District, where she developed and implemented injury screenings, fitness programming, and rehabilitation services for fire fighter recruits. She also had the privilege of working with the families of first responders, recognizing the crucial role they play in supporting the overall well-being of service members. During her time as a therapist she has also had the opportunity to work closely with Navy SEALs as well as Coast Guard pilots, mechanics and rescue swimmers.
Brigette is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and holds certifications in Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, Management of the Fitness Athlete and is a Registered Yoga Instructor. She also plans to pursue a Fellowship in Manual Therapy, additional certifications in exercise programming as well as advanced certifications in pregnancy and women’s health.
And yes—she promises she has a social life, too! In her free time she enjoys cooking, trap shooting and dirtbike riding with her boyfriend, walks with her stubborn beagle-mix pup Bumper, and curling up on the couch with a good book and a cup of tea, possibly a shot of bourbon or a good beer too.
